What is considered Spring Training season in Arizona. I would like to surprise my husband with a trip to Arizona and I am baseball challenged. He enjoys baseball and I thought this would be a "good thing". Thanks for info.

Most games are during March. Schedules haven't yet been released and likely won't be finalized until close to December 1. Tickets generally go on sale sometime in December or in early January, depending on the team.

To get e-mail updates on Spring Training tickets for DH's favorite team, go to this link, click on the name of the team under "Cactus League" on the left, click on "2009 Schedule" at the top of the page and then follow directions to sign up for e-mail updates.

It's pretty much the whole month of March. It looks like it's Feb. 27th to March 29th for the Giants, so it should be similar for all the teams who play in AZ. I'll try to find the schedule and post it.

We made a trade with II into Cibola Vista in Peoria for Mar 22. We are only going for the baseball. All our teams are playing in the area. I was born and raised in Cleveland (Indians) , we moved to Florida from Seattle (Mariners) and our nephew pitches for San Diego (Padres). I can hardly wait!
