Does anyone know the name of the sports bar and restaurant thats just outside Orange Lake Resort across the street from the Publix Store in the Crossroads strip mall? We enjoyed a couple of meals there last year and DH wants to go back while we are there next week. I want to do a mapquest to see how far it is from where we are staying.

Miller's Ale House

A friend asked me to travel with her last year at this time to bring a car load of possessions down to Florida for her daughter who had relocated. Her husband got us a very cheap rate at Mystic Dunes and we used teetime.com to book some golf. We ate at Miller's Ale House many times during that week. Definitely a sports bar/restaurant. If I remember, 30+ TV's, 60+ different beers, and very friendly staff. We split an appetizer or salad and shared a dinner. We each had a drink or two and it was a fun relaxing time. I think one evening was $1.00 drinks, something like tequila sunrise or some such. DH and I are spending two weeks in Orlando this winter and I'm looking forward to taking him there. Enjoy your trip.

As an aside, Orange Lake has night time golf at its smaller 9 hole course. Big high stadium lights. It was great, golfing at night under a full moon. An experience to remember. We called all our friends up north and told them what we were up to..in December!
