It looks like their showing a regular Jeopardy at it's normal time and the tournament will at 8:00 pm. At least that's how my "Dish" programming is showing it.

I’d already set the recording last week. Forgot it starts tonight. I’ll be watching!

We are in Salem Oregon. I looked ahead in Comcast Programming. It shows 8pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This week and next week.

And it MAY not be on your 'regular' Jeopardy! channel. It's being broadcast on ABC. Set up for 7 games, first winner of 3 is the winner of a $million.

I have no inside knowledge, but with the expected HUGE audience, the last 30 seconds of the final game might be time for Alex to bow out.

I didn't like seeing many of the LOOOOOONNNNNGGG clues, then seeing multiple players waiting to time in (finally) to answer.

Didn't care for the new music that much.

Brad didn't have a good night at all, missing those daily doubles. He did mention he's losing "recall ability" as he gets older. :ponder:

What a match! Hitting and correctly questioning the daily doubles is the key to winning.

Hitting Daily Doubles, betting all the chips, and answering incorrectly is the key to losing. Ask Brad Rutter.

Same here. It's on a different channel.

It was great watching how they each play. Looking forward to tonight’s show.

Jim, your comment that Alex may bow out at the end of the series makes great sense. The interview he had with Michael Strahan last week showed how weak he is right now.

Yeah. I have no inside insight, but I think P.T.Barnum said to 'Leave 'em cheering'. Or something like that. This tournament is clearly Alex's crowning Jeopardy achievement, so it would make sense to leave while on top. However it works out, dealing with one's own mortality has a way of adjusting one's priorities.

I agree. And I can’t think of a more appropriate time to call it a day.

I am wondering how many episodes of regular jeopardy have already been taped, I thought they taped five shows a day

Obviously answering correctly is essential, and they will have to bet it all. It is going to come down to hitting the daily doubles , and if they miss the daily double they take themselves right out of the tournament

Seriously, I really enjoy Jeopardy and will hate to see Alex leave whenever he chooses to do so. It’s a great show that teaches and entertains at the same time without trying too hard to be entertaining, if that makes sense. It doesn’t try to inject silliness or outrageousness to entertain. I hope whoever replaces Alex stays true to that format.

My nephew won Christmas Day , he is 30 and has tried his adult life to get on. It's not easy. Was a dream come true for him. The currant lady winner is who beat him been a couple weeks now.

This is quite a ending if your right, it would be perfect!

Looking forward to it

Anybody want to place bets on what will happen tonight? Ken Jennings is looking really good, and btw isn't he the oldest? He sure isn't showing his age...looks-wise or brain-wise.

I haven't ever watched Jeopardy as a regular. I've seen shows here and there, but it must conflict with something else or I'm doing something else at whatever time it is regularly on in Los Angeles, but I watched last night. I enjoyed seeing how many I get right off, how many I'd get given a bit of time to think and how many topics I'm in awe of. The three answer rhyming words blew me away, as did the Shakespeare category where the clue seemed to be a single word from a sonnet.

The three rhyming words is a brain twister for sure. And I bet if everybody did those it would help stave off dementia!
