My reservation using SW points to Nassau on 12/27 cancelled--looks like not flying there anymore--at least for now. Was trying to decide to go or not looks like they made a decision for me.

Interesting. I think the lack of direction from Atlantis and bahamar probably is affecting that. I read today that Atlantis May open 12/1 with a limited phased vacation in place bubble. I’m booked for harborside on 12/27 and have not purchased airfare yet. If Atlantis opens I’ll go

I'll be anxious to hear updates on the Harborside reservation. From here in south Florida, we fly BahamasAir, it's a 30 minute flight. I'm not booking Harborside until I know the restaurants are open, the pools are open, and the shuttles are running.

Yep, our January 2-9 BWI-NAS flights on Southwest cancelled too. Now considering alternate locations because of this.

So much depends on the government and the hotel industry to make s decision about tourist going back to the Bahamas. IMHO.

I’ve booked BWI TO FLL on 12/26 and then go next day on bahamas air but again dependent on opening

It seems that limited details were leaked from a closed door meeting. I’ve been checking booking for a bit and there was no availability at Atlantis until mid November. That was changed as of last week to beginning of December (12/1). I’ve only seen availability at Royal/reef/HS to be booked. This makes sense since they may want to keep the resort limited, keep the casino open, access to the spa and gym. The Royal offers a mix of accommodations from mid to high end to cater to all customers. It looks like closer to the holidays you can book other phases. I am hoping the grounds are open so I can use the beach. I scored two premium one bedrooms 12/27 with restricted SO’s. I hope it doesn’t get pushed back further. Everyday I hear of new openings at resorts in the Caribbean and the Bahamas is far behind.

Oh man, we got flights / reservation at Harborside end of November, so far, Jetblue hasn't cancelled the flight yet...
I've been calling Harborside trying to ask what is going on last week, but no one pick up the phone and it just hung up after some rings...

I can't wait to get back there. So many restaurants, so many pools, tube rides, slides, 3 beaches, CASINO,
shopping, all in one resort area, accessible by the resort shuttles. It's one of our favorite places to go. One place I'd never even consider renting a car. I just wish the restaurants weren't so EXPENSIVE!

Just got an email telling us that the flight has changed...they cancelled our friday night flight and moved it to Saturday night...they might move us again to Sunday night if there are no demand for the Saturday night flight? sigh...probably will cancel now....

So today got an actual e mail cancelling flights==interesting I got points back before the e mail. Since I own week 52 which is a fixed week so if I cancel my premium week will get restricted 120 days within 60 days but if I cancel now they go back to my account for only use this year...........so guess I will hang in there till closer to the 12/27 arrival date........but the way things are looking doubtful.......

Hold onto the reservation for now. You may be able to bank in interval still so that could always be an option

I end up cancelling the stay all together...they made another change and my return flight had a 6.5 hr layover at FLL...
