I looking for three nights around LA for next May at a Worldmark. I'm thinking either Anaheim or Oceanside. It will be my wife and I and 17 year old daughter. Thinking we might want to do the Ocean/Beach as well as Universal Studios. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The WorldMark Anaheim is a very nice resort, my preferred place to stay, but the points are higher for it and there are taxes that Dolphin's Cove does not have. Another TUGger told me that Dolphin's Cove recently had some updates. We go in 39 days and looking forward to it.

The Hilton hotel near Universal is very nice and has a shuttle to take you to Universal. That would be my choice for a Universal visit.

At Anaheim, what is the difference between a presidential and standard two bedroom?

In June we stayed at Dolphin’s Cove in an updated one bedroom unit. I think it was unit 125. They did a good job. The new flooring is nice as are the new kitchen tables. I don’t remember the living room.

There were air conditioning units in both the living room and bedroom. You will need AC in September.

Two hours from Oceanside to Universal. Anaheim should be an hour closer, but traffic no fun either way.

I ended up booking a 2BR Presidential in Anaheim. Double the credits. I hope its worth it.
