We are at one of the few timeshares that appear open up here on Kingsbury grade. We are at VI Resorts - Kingsbury of Tahoe. It and the Ridge Sierra (which split off from The Ridge management awhile ago) are the only timeshares open. All of the other Ridge properties, Perennial Vacation Club, Royal Aloha Vacation Club and WorldMark are all closed. Today is the day Stateline casinos are reopening.

Community pool and hot tub remain closed.

BTW - The Ridge is now part of Holiday Inn Vacation Club.

Nevertheless it’s beautiful here.

When I was there, Hyatt High Sierra’s pool hardly had anyone there, maybe because of hot tub not working (reported under maintenance). So most of the week my family just used Hyatt Hotel’s pools & hot tubs which had people using them but we were able to enjoy also. Hyatt’s private beach was also not quite busy at all, plenty of lounge chairs available! But July 4th week probably will not be same as the week we went in June, that holiday week might be the most busy week in Lake Tahoe! There was probably a few less lounge chairs on Hyatt beach due to social distancing, they do sanitize them after each use. Plan to start early on your beach day at Hyatt Beach so you can assure a space! Hope you have a great time!
