Does anyone know how bad the flooding in South Florida. We will land at MIA airport next week and will stay at Wyndham Palm aire .

I heard about flooding from the local TV news and worry a lots since we already paid for everthing ( air ticket, hotel, car ) and not sure if we should go ahead with our trip or not.

You should be fine. There is no major flooding neae the resort and the airport and I95 are not flooded.

We had about a foot of water in the parking garage but it's underground. It's already gone. Hopefully the rain will stop soon. It has let up a bit so you should be good.

We usually don't have those catastrophic floods like you see in other parts of the country. It's usually remedied by opening the floodgates to the everglades. I wouldn't worry about it. Seems every few years we get a no name flood storm that catches us off guard like this one. I lost a car in one in 1999. Drove thru what I thought was a puddle but turned out to be a pond. Now I drive an SUV. ;)
