I know I have read posts from members who live in or near Hilton Head and Myrtle beach so looking for advice.
How open/ busy is the area in November? Are outdoor activities still offered- mini golf, heated outdoor pools, attractions?
I see weather projections between 50’s to 70’s which is plenty warm for us northern new englanders.
Thanks
I've been to Hilton Head in early November, Thanksgiving week, and the first week of December. Early November was incredible. Very few tourists and the weather was 65-75 every day without rain. Great golf and tennis weather. Thanksgiving is a little colder, but not freezing. Too cold for the pools. Still good golf weather. First week in December is about the same, but the days are getting real short by then. Almost no tourists at all during early December. Being from New England, you will think it's balmy.

Hilton Head, being around 200 miles south of Myrtle Beach, will be a few degrees warmer than MB in November..Temperatures will average between 70 and 75 in mid November...night time will be around 50..balmy for us North Easterners

Just a minor nitpicky point, while HHI is about 200 miles by highway from Myrtle Beach, geographically, it is only about 140-150 miles or so straight line southwest of Myrtle (depending on which spot in Myrtle you measure from). From a pure north-south latitude perspective, HHI's latitude is only about 90 miles in latitude south of Myrtle's latitude. Temperature differential is usually a couple of degrees.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I did look up the weather and know from trips to Fl that it can vary year to year.
I am most interested in knowing if things are open. Up here in NE the tourist towns often roll up the sidewalks after Columbus Day.
You can find out specific answers to pools, etc. if you go to the regular Marriott web site and look at the Fitness amenities of each resort. It should tell you which pools are heated or that are seasonal.

Before the Coronavirus. This is a great place to be: weather is idea, tourist population is less, restaurants are not as crowded, golf courses and prices are a little less.
Having just come back from HHI I'd happily go again in the fall Oct-Dec. First HHI is BIG there are lots of full time residents and lots of stores including ones like Walmart Target and the biggest Krogers I've ever seen. So everything will be open just not packed. Several of the Marriott TS in HHI have indoor pools also several (not all) of the outdoor pools are heated so even in the morning when the temp was at about 60 the pool was nice.
Hope this helps
We have been there in late October and at Thanksgiving. Lovely weather both times of year. We only did the heated pools and hot tubs, but there were people in the unheated pools too.
