Some Good Starwood News (No Seriously)

Just got a confirmation today from II that my Vistana Villages unit, which is only 67,100 Star Options (How I wish I knew what I was buying then....) pulled a 2 BR villa at the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort in August.

I'm in!

What's crazy about this is, that through Starwood, I could only book a studio at WKORV in July. I know how the two systems work, but you got to admit, that's a bit of a head scratcher.

So, now I have to see if I can move my Maui (studio) reservation to August. And get two weeks. Or, I'll bank that one in II. What a nice problem to have.

We visited WKORV in 05, the studio, and it was wonderful. Even with the four of us (two adults, two children) it was just a great vacation. Any families thinking about this, I'd say do it.

My wife has a big birthday this year, so Hawaii it is. We live in the Boston area so this is a big deal in many ways.

So, some good Starwood news, granted it only benefits me. :)

And it works out for Starwood too. I was dragging my feet paying the maintenance fees. All paid up now. Don't want to lose anything.

Cheers!

We have had similar luck trading into WKORV last fall. We used a small one bedroom gold season WKV, traded through II, and got a two bedroom lock-off.

All I say is take it, when you can get it.

That's really great news! You'll love Hawaii. I miss it already.
