SOLVED: iBooks on iPad -- text and format scrambled?

Ugh! My iBooks copy of Steve Jobs, by Walter Isaacson, is having issues! It was fine from download on Monday through last night ... but today the text and formatting are scrambled and unreadable. My iPad 2 is NOT jail broke ... and other books and PDFs are displaying just fine. I deleted the Steve Jobs book and redownloaded ... same problem. Also tried resyncing with my Mac but no improvements. Ugh. Any tips? Thx!

Update: I've now submitted a trouble ticket to iTunes using the kbase article found: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1933

Ah, eighth time is the charm! (Give or take a download or two ...) Repeated the pattern of delete from iBooks, fully close app, sometimes reboot, launch, re-download, etc.

I received a full refund from iTunes yesterday. Correspondence has been limited -- two auto replies followed by a message from a named-support staff reporting the refund but no explanation of the problem beyond, "Looking into it." I found the last email a bit strange as the problem had already been reported as "widely known" on the internet.

But for now ... I've been given a refund.

My theory: This BBS has only 3 real posters (I won't say who).

Yeah, 5 posts all to myself. I figured I'd document problem and how it was resolved for future reference. Maybe someone else will need it someday ... or maybe ***I*** will need it again someday.
