Soleil-managed resorts on Maui, even Sands of Kahana, do not provide any cribs or pack 'n plays for babies and toddlers

This really never came up before as a concern with our grandkids, but this trip, it absolutely is an issue. Soleil gave us a couple of companies to call for rentals of cribs for the kids' two-week stay. They needed two for our grandbabies, who are 14 months old, too young to sleep on the twin beds.

The cost for renting two cribs, full-size with sheets, $500/ two weeks, which includes delivery to the office and not to the room.

We have never stayed in any resort that didn't include these, and I had no idea that Hono Koa doesn't have them, either.

It seems to be that providing amenities like this would be standard, but I guess not with Soleil.

Yet another reason Wyndham should take over the management of Soleil on Maui.

BTW, when is your trip? We're going to be there in May. It would be great to do a "meet-up" with you and Rick. :)

Maui Hill didn't provide cribs either. A couple of years we brought a collapsible playpen that our daughter could sleep in. Other years we rented one.

We are here now until 3/27. We come back 8/18-9/1, staying at Westin via exchange, then we come back next February for five weeks.

That is a better price for the cribs. I am thinking our daughter-in-law didn't look for a deal but just went with the first company she found.

The babies' safety means everything.

Westin has actual cribs, not pack 'n plays. We saw them in the hallways. Their last week will be at Westin, then Hyatt Residence Club.

We used the Lotus Everywhere travel crib when our kids were too young for beds. 13 lbs, packs small. I'm a mechanical engineer and appreciated the elegance of the design, it's super easy to set up.

We had them nap in it for awhile pre-trip to get used to it, and took our own sheets so it smelled right. At $229 even if you have to pay for extra luggage it's cheaper than that quote for renting, and we sold ours when we were done with it and recovered some money that way as well.
