I am trying to help my aunt and uncle unload their timeshare. They can no longer use it due to health issues.

This city view studio features a Euro king-size platform bed with drawers, bathroom with a European marble free-standing shower, workspace with Eames Management Chair, fine-quality linens and 55-inch flat-panel TV with High Definition cable, and stereo. Additional features include an iHome clock radio with iPod docking station, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, valet/laundry, ironing board, in-room safe, hair dryer, and vanity mirror.

2024 Dues were paid (Just under $2000). 2023 dues were $2022.28. 2023 points were rolled over into 2024, so total points available for 2024 are 16800.

Great deal getting one for free - I just picked one up for $700 or so or would take it myself.

Interested. Sent you a PM.

As a newbie, OP will not be able to receive or send PMs. You'll have to figure out a different way to connect - maybe @TUGBrian could intervene and send an email to them...?

Also interested if Denise L and letsgobobby don't take it. Love that you offered it here, many thanks @Heinz57

I took too long getting back to Denise, and she didn't think I'd back to her. Same with the next person. I didn't realize people normally get really quick replies, and need such quick replies back! Anyways, you're next on the list if you're still interested. Just keep in mind... I won't see your reply until this evening... maybe tomorrow morning. But I won't be ignoring you.

It's maintenance fee season and a lot of people that have decided they don't want to pay any more or willing to make a deal. What you're offering is a great deal, but if they don't hear from you and are actively looking, they might settle for just a good deal.

Bumping up. Still interested in giving away. Plese IM (I do receive them). I'll try and reply more quickly.

I sent you a message this AM.

Update: I am going to try to make this work. Can someone recommend a place that can transfer NY deeds? I called LT Transfers and they do not transfer NY deeds.

Grand Vacation Title is an option that would definitely work. You could also try Resort Closings, Inc. which is a subsidiary of Buy and Sell Timeshares owned by another tugger - I think they do NY.

I have a listing on RedWeek. I could arrange for you to make an offer. And then I’ll accept. I believe the minimum commission to them is $500. I’ll double check.

I think they would still charge all the closing fees, so it would cost me $500 more than $2000.

If I can get it done through my broker contact for $2000 total, I would probably opt to go that direction. I know that they wouldn't mess it up. Can you give me another day to find a reputable transfer option for $2000 or less?

Sure. Can I have info on the broker so I can check them out?

Of course. The broker is Seth Nock at sellingtimeshares.net. I wouldn't/we wouldn't be paying him anything, but the closing company is called Duncan Title & Escrow or Duncan Realty & Escrow. Duncan would handle the paperwork and the transfer.

They have transferred/closed contracts via Seth's company in the past for me and other Tuggers.

The other option would be through another broker, Judi Kozlowski, and her closing company Grand Vacation Title, but another Tugger paid more to close, plus the $1200 in HGVC fees. Seth Nock's option via Duncan seems more affordable for me once I confirm the final cost.

*Edited to omit specific prices. Didn't realize that I was replying to the group thread and not a private message.
