Now to do research ... i think they just do a renovation there, right? Im confused b/c it seems like there is a bunch of names for the same place?

Edited to add - its Bluebeards Castle Villas III if that matters ...

No elevator in Villas III. There are 4 HOA's in the same resort, different bldgs in separate phases. There will probably be stairs , though relatives own 126/7 and there are no stairs on their level. Only bldg with an elevator is Hilltop 2.

Right on premise there are three places to eat. Room with a View and the pool bar/grill are two. Yes they finished renovations just over a year ago. Looked to me last winter that the Hilltop Villas made the most in-depth renovations to interior of units.

Too funny, I swear you're following me!
Just got back from STT last night but stayed at Marriott Cove. I too am very interested in how the Hilltop villas are as it is one of the more available places on RCI.
I can definatly tell you our dinner at the Banana Tree at Hilltop was our best meal all week. Too bad it was our last night or we would have eaten there more. Most of our other dinners were average...Mimms, Hook line and sinker just so so.
We would sum STT up as what St. Lucia would be like if America took it over. Same sort of elevations, winding roads.
My number one helpfull hint: take your GPS. We are terrible about finding our way around anywhere. We say if we got on the Amazing Race we'd never be able to find our way to the starting line!! GPS works great there!
We never even were on the beach at the Marriott as we were too busy visiting beaches, Jost Van Dyke and St John (although I wish we did).
Loved STT but already deceided to stay on St. John next trip. Go there and you'll see why, It's like a quaint little village, the most amazing beaches without hordes of cruiseship passengers!

A wonderfully romantic dinner would call for the Old Stone Farm House. The food is excellent and the service impeccable, beside being in a very historic building and tucked into the mountainside. I felt the prices were comparable to other good restaurants on the island. I know you will enjoy youself wherever you dine.
