Same here in my neighborhood. I'm so glad that my boss said we could work from home today. But I've only seen 2 others of us online. :ignore:

It started here in Buffalo at 8 AM and now it is sounding more like freezing rain, making matters even worse.
All schools were closed today ahead of the storm.

Started here about 3 hours ago. We have over 4 inches already. I just got back in from my first sweep of the driveway. Snowblower started up like a champ!!

We left our daughter's in Portland Me yesterday at 8am with 13 degrees and snow on the ground. We arrived in Savannah at 2pm with 82 degrees. The snow made for a perfect early Christmas celebration as we rode the Polar Express Wed evening. Our 4 year-old and 2 year-old had a blast. It was hard for Grandma and Grandpa to leave but shirt sleeves and sun are nice!

Just north of Detroit.....I woke up at 4 a.m. and peeked out the window and not a flake was coming down. Woke up again and looked out at 5:15 a.m. and couldn't see the house across the street it was snowing so hard! From 4:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. we picked up an additional FOOT of snow! Yowza! Now comes the high winds later this afternoon......they said to expect drifts
2+ feet deep and have already warned us they won't be able to keep the roads clear overnight. We've got another storm heading our way for Sunday, and another looking to hit us next Wednesday. It will be a white Christmas for sure!!!!! (and yes, my kids are VERY happy!!!!)

Funny thing is that the line at the liquor store was longer than the lines at Stop & Shop. Perhaps that just speaks to the people in my neighborhood though. :D

After 40+ years of T/S ownership, I am no longer "an owner"
You're welcome! :hi:

Thank God it's moved on from Milwaukee after dumping between 10 and 12 inches here. It stopped around noontime, I think. Our neighborhood hasn't been plowed and at the cross street where we live has seen over 10 stuck cars in the past hour. I'm shocked that people are out in this trying to go somewhere when most things closed down for the day.

We had ours in Seattle/Bellevue yesterday. North of Seattle, towards Bellingham, it started two days ago and they had a foot of snow on the ground in the lowlands, before yesterday's snow arrived. A brief respite today and tomorrow, than more on Sunday.

I hope DD and SIL will be able to get in from Chicago tomorrow.

Started snowing in Vermont around 2:00 PM. Very light and fluffy. I have shoveled the walkways twice now. It is sooooo beautiful out. Can't wait to take out the XC skis tomorrow. Who knows, with the headlamp why not go tonight!!!

Our flight left Newark for Freeport, via Ft. Lauderdale, at 6:30 AM, no snow yet. Our house/dog sitter sent us some pics of the dogs playing in about 6" of snow later this afternoon. Around the time we were sitting at the pool at our TS. :D

Good thing we left when we did, I hear a lot of flights for later in the day were canceled.

So I don't suppose you all want to know that we are in sunny Aruba 1/2 way between a 2-week vacation where the temperature has averaged about 82F so far. :D

Oh let up ... don't be cross, we're going back to -19F weather in Calgary next weekend, so we're going to enjoy this while we can!
