I just booked an RCI exchange into Smugglers Notch, 2 Bedroom for July. Anyone one what SY-20 stands for, in regards to the unit type. I assuming it stands for Sycamores. Anyone tell me more about it? How is the Sycamore building, and what does the 20 stand for? Thanks!

Hi, I will take a stab at this. The code is your actual unit number, Sycamores is in the West Hill community and it looks like SY-20 is in the building closest to Rt 108. See this map: http://www.smuggs.com/pages/summer/lodging/village-map.php

I believe the West Hill has a separate check in, but I would call ahead to make sure. There is also a pool that is only for West Hill owners and guests. I think there is a playground there too.

The walk to the village is very easy in the summer, head down Meadowlark trail and you will be in the village within 5 minutes. Also, I believe that Meadowlark is the walking path to Rum Runners reservoir.

I have not stayed in a Sycamores unit yet (will this summer), I believe they are very similar to Tamaracks, which we have found the two bedroom to be very comfortable.

If you go to the website: www.smuggs.com and click on Summer in the upper right hand corner, there is a good bit of information. I don't think it will be updated for this coming summer until after ski season is over.

Hope this helps.

We own in Sycamores (15). Owned since 1999. You are in unit 20 in the 1st building on your left when you drive into the West Hill community. You'll be very happy with it.
Our building (and yours) is right across from the heated pool and clubhouse (with exercise facilities, game room, etc). Short hike down to the main Smuggs village. There is a separate check-in at the club house usually instead of the main desk at the resort. The Meadowlark trail does go up to Rum Runners.

Any info you would like just send me an e-mail/private message. We have been going all the years we own - rarely ever exchanged our summer week. And now we even go on our off-season weeks. I can tell you almost anything about the resort and the area. :hi:
