All things being equal, which resort would you purchase? We will visit both along the way, but ARP is not really an issue. Just looking for opinions...Thanks!

Buy where the MFs are lower. I thought it is Vegas, but I double checked and Smoky Mnts are less.

SM are 3.46 per K of UDI points and GD is 3.57 to 3.84 depending on which tower (tower 3 being the pricier on). But they are both close in $$.

Since it is Wyndham points are points, either resort has decent availability without needing an ARP to book a stay.

Always think ahead...

Which one would you frequent more (pic that one)
Which one would you want a larger unit at times (pic that one)
Which one would you want to book far in advance (pic that one)
Which one is newest (pic that one)

If either one has more "yes" than "no" that's the one you should pic...

Both locations seem to be available and thus there is no need for ARP considerations.

While I believe strongly in the ARP criteria for some Wyndam resorts, the reality for most is the points are points approach works.

For these two it does too and thus I'd select Smoky Mountains points with no intention of going there again.

I meant "pick" just to lazy to cut/paste or write extra letter :D

The whole spirit of the exercise was that if one wanted to choose 1 over the other that's a way to decide.
