Hi Tuggers,
Although I've owned WorldMark points for about 7 years and have lurked here a lot, this is my first post.
Mostly we've used our WorldMark points at South Shore to ski at Heavenly and Kirkwood. But last year my young adult kids tried out Northstar for the first time and loved it! Thus I'm trying to find a timeshare in North Tahoe.
I'm thinking about buying 480,000+ Welk points to use consistently and specificly at Northstar from Jan. 1-9. As a resale points owner who could get online during the first day that I'm allowed to book, how likely do you think I would be able to get a 3 bedroom (or 2 bedroom + den) during these dates -- 75% - 80% of the time? Or highly unlikely/much lower %?
Do you think that the inventory is booked within the first 1-2 minutes? 15 minutes? by the end of the day?
Or before the day even starts (due to owners with a high volume of developer points )?
Lastly how much do skiers/owners like the Welks Northstar resort specificly -- and the Welk ecosystem in general?
