Around ten years ago, we stayed at the then-Embassy Vacation Resort at the end of Ski Run Blvd next to McDonalds. We got a 2-BR through exchange with RCI as we were/are HGVC members. We really enjoyed ourselves there, especially the indoor/outdoor heated pool and swimming in the snow.

We'd like to stay there again, but I don't know the new name or TS parent property company. Can anyone help us out? Also, if anyone of you out there has stayed in it recently, how was it?

It's called the Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort and is now run by Diamond Resorts. It is a dual-affiliated II and RCI resort.

Have never stayed there, but it has an enviable location for summer, very close to the lake and marina.
