Should I confirm Vistana Resort?

I am looking for a second week at Disney in July. I just closed on another week at the resort I already own and put in an ongoing search for a 2 bedroom at Disney or Bonnet Creek. Vistana Resort is currently available in RCI which I put on hold. Should I confirm Vistana? Is Vistana always available in RCI? I'm worried if I don't confirm Vistana Resort I won't have many choices available if I don't get a match.

How does Vistana compare to Disney or Bonnet Creek? My biggest concern is the transportation. I have two teenagers who get up late and like to go to the parks on their own.

Thanks Denise. The units look very nice. I probably should just save my points and skip the second week at Disney. July week at Disney will take 52 TPU, more than double Vistana.

From Vistana Resort to Downtown Disney is an easy journey - quite close. The traffic can get a little hairy, but still, it is not hard,

July at Bonnet has already come and gone. At this point you'd be hoping to catch a cancelation.

The July window at DVC is rapidly closing, except possibly the larger resorts, and even those---it's getting late.

I was in a refurbished Vistana unit a couple years ago. It was great. You can tell in some parts of the complex that it's a little older, but it is very well kept and the unit refurbishments are lovely. The location is a good one for easy WDW access. I also notice that they got their Gold Crown back. I think that's well deserved. I'd go for it. You can always add cancel protection if you want to try to trade up later.
