The discount code listed worked. However, because the online system was showing an error code when I tried to register a 'user id' I had to call in and it took several transfers and more than one person helping me to finally get to the Starwood desk so I could register. I checked my cell min and it took 1 hr and 18 mins total for my new member registration:eek: Hopefully it will get better after this. Dawn
but I did get the non-SVN 2:1 yr at $89
I have been happy with RCI but thought I would give II a try as I own Plat SDO:D

The phrase "red season" is irrelevant; that is exchange company talk. You have a 1-52 floater, which is a great trader without the labels. I have traded mine for Hawaii, ski weeks, and Newport Beach.

I would definitely join II rather than RCI. II has the Starwood preference which is the reason SDO trades well.

It will take a few weeks to get a deed prepared, recorded, and registered with Starwood. Not much to do in the interim. But when you join II which you cannot do until the unit is registered with Starwood, make sure you get whatever their current "deal" is (usually two years membership for the price of one year).
