my daughter was going to ship stored, frozen breast milk home, but found out the cost would be $180 plus the cost of dry ice. Right now it weighs 30 pounds. her husband is coming next weekend on Delta, and we are going to try to pack a cooler for him to take back with him. she bought two small styrofoam coolers , but I have a rolling cooler that I think would be better. We also have a large Omaha Steaks styrofoam cooler, but the UPS store thought it was bigger than the airlines would allow.
so has anyone shipped frozen food, what is best way to do so? If we do fly it home , what is the best way to do it, what does the airline allow as far as size and packaging?
