Hi All!

I need advise if somebody know if this Sheraton Vistana is very strict regarding maximum occupancy on the rooms, and if the occupants need a type of bracelet or anything to access pool, etc..
I am planning getting a 1 bedroom and to bring my mother in law, so will be 3 adults + 2 kids.

Can you request rollaway beds?

Thanks so much for your responses and Happy Easter!

Well you have a master bed, sleeper sofa for the kids and you can request a rollaway.

From the website:
Special Arrangements
Cribs, Highchairs and Rollaway Beds
Cribs, highchairs and rollaway beds are available upon request. Please call Sheraton Vacation Ownership toll free at (888) SV-OWNER (786-9637) or direct at 407-903-4649 to make arrangements. Fees apply for the usage of these items. Please note that rollaway beds are not allowed in all villa types.

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but if you're assigned a regular one-bedroom, there's probably no room for a rollaway ("rollaway beds not allowed in all unit types" probably means the regular one-BR and the smaller half of the lockoff).

They're tiny .... And if the sofa bed is opened, pretty crowded.

Yea there are 2 sizes of 1 BR. 1BR Premium and 1BR.
You would definitely need to ask.

I am looking to get an extra studio same days (6-24 to 7-1) via gateaway... and call Sheraton to request both reservations to be changed to a 2 bedroom...

- Do you think that finding a studio will even be possible @ II?

- Is any bracelet/occupation checking in the hotel? (in case I cannot find a studio)

Thanks again and Happy Easter!

We are here on our first time visit and there has been no bracelets or checking. We are here through next week, so not sure what may happen over Easter. This resort is huge, so I can easily see disappearing in it. There are also a lot of guard shacks even just to get around the property.

One thing though, we have been asked several times if we exchanged in and the question was always asked in such a way as to give us the feeling that the rules would be different if we HAD exchanged in. So maybe they would look at you closer if you exchanged in?

We did exchange in, lol, we did a direct exchange with another Tugger, and we have been treated very very well so far. Again, don't know if it is because we are actually guests of an owner and not in through a traditional exchange.

Who has been asking you if you've exchanged? Guests or staff? In what context? I would think they'd want exchangers -- they are fresh blood potential owners!

People at check in, at activities, security guards. You would think potential owners would get star or at least equal treatment. I talked to some people at the pool who had exchanged in and they said they noticed a, for want of better word, "snobbyness" toward them by staff. Since we are guests of an owner, we haven't noticed anything like that.
