I may be able to purchase one of these from a friend of a friend for my children (I'm maxed out right now).

1) How do ski weeks at this resort trade within Starwood?
2) Does ownership come with a specific week for deed purposes and can you book your deeded week with some priority or in advance?
3) Anybody have a figure on what 2BR annual resale during ski season (Dec thru Spring) are worth these days?

Thanks in advance

Prices have really fallen a ton lately. Within the past 3 months, I've seen a 2BR annual ski week go for around $7,500 on eBay, and a 2BR annual summer week go unsold at $1. A year ago, the ski week would have fetched at least $9,000. Every other year ski weeks seem to have held a little more value, going for around $5,000 on eBay.

The opening of the new Westin in Avon is probably hurting prices a bit, but mostly it's just the overall cratering of timeshare prices. I imagine they'll be headed down even more over the next year or so, but not much more than that.

Hope that helps.

-prime ski weeks at nice resorts are great II traders. Each one bed that forms the 2br lockout will pull 2br's through II at most of the starwood resorts
-unless you pay a premium to fix your week, your deeded week is just for their record keeping and your week is a float week.
-In this market an annual 2br ski week is worth between 9k-11k, the last one I saw on ebay was around $10k, some will go for a bit more, some for a bit less
