Sheraton Flex ownerships -- what is availability like?

I've been wondering how good availability is with Sheraton Flex ownerships. Given the cost per SO, Flex doesn't look cost-effective for booking SDO or the Sheraton ski resorts. It does seem reasonably cost-effective for some of the Orlando and Myrtle Beach weeks, especially premium one-bedrooms in Orlando and in the original (Plantation) phase at Myrtle Beach (SBP.) . But, are these actually available in Flex during peak times? When I first heard about the Sheraton Flex program, I was especially suspicious about SBP (Myrtle Beach) inventory during the summer. I wonder if anything is available, even at midnight 365 days out.

Anyone here own in Sheraton Flex and know about this?

I have never had an issue booking Steamboat 12-months out for Spring break. This is the only reason I bought Flex -- to have the Home reservation period. Its impossible to get into this property for a ski week via an 8-month star option trade. I have not stayed at any other FLEX property, but may try the Sheraton in Kauai

With Staroptions, there are tons of summer SBP reservations available at 8 months (except July 4 week), even at 6 months before. So, I would think Flex would have summer reservations, as long as you have some flexibility with your timing

Outside of Flex Properties, like Harborside, Bahamas you need to book exactly 8 months out, been there 4 times with flex points, Orlando is easy to book. SBP can be tough June, July, thru mid August, make sure you book 12 months out for best results in these months, kids go back to school mid August in south.
