Sheraton Desert Oasis

We are leaving for Scottsdale Sunday for a week at the Sheraton Desert Oasis. Any tips or things we should know to about the resort or check in to make our stay better would be welcome

We were there back in Feb and really liked the place. We stayed in a large 1BR and it was very nice and the employees were very helpful and friendly.

there is a kmart or walmart very close by to get groceries. go visit kierland commons while you are there. the pool is great and i can't wait to be there in march. have fun and enjoy the weather.

Are all unit locations created equal? We have a 2 bdrm. Any advice on asking for a specific area or location?

when i called i asked for mountain view.

I don't remember any of the units having much of a view. When we were there back in Feb, they didn't have Wifi throughout the property, only in the lobby area and you had to pay for it. However, if you were on the left side of the property (as you face it), you could pick up a WiFi signal from the condo project next door that was free. If you need Wifi, might want to call and see if it now works all over the property and if you still have to pay for it. If not available all over, might want to get a 3rd floor unit on left side of property near the office. You can probably pick up free signal from there and if not might pick up signal from lobby. All of the units are the same - basically 2BR lockoffs, so you either have both sides, or a large or small 1BR. Seems like most sought after location was overlooking pool area.
