I think the infinity pool is a figment of their imagination, but I have been wrong before. It seems there will be no more fixed weeks /fixed units in the older buildings, and many contracts are ending soon.

This may be what you already have seen. I added the building letters.

BTW SciTchr, we were on the same hall as you and your husband (but no balcony, you lucked out :)). I asked several folks if they were Science Teacher. We also used RCI for the week. I thought I read that you did as well (?). If so, how did you know your room number before going?

I'd be interested in seeing a property map with the buildings. I've seen a high level one only on Google maps.

Thanks

Here’s a photo of a printed property map from last spring with the facilities labeled.

rpennisi - I wish we had connected. We were the first room from the elevator - 1769. We spent a lot of time at the pool or the beach during the day. I received an email from Leonardo Gonzalez about paying for a ride from the airport, all inclusive fees and other things. I called him and requested a room with a balcony. They have two on each floor it seems, so they are there. Did you have a one bedroom? The room right next door to us was a studio with the bed in the room. I was under the assumption that all of the rooms in building D were one bedrooms, except for the end of the hallway where the larger units are. We visited 1779 at the end of the hallway for drinks with friends we made. It was a beautiful two bedroom with a gorgeous ocean front balcony that faced the bay. We enjoyed our time at the Sheraton, but we really love Lindo Mar south of town where we own. It is a small 40 room timeshare in colonial Mexican style. Our normal stay in PV is a week in a rental condo at Vista del Sol in Zona Romantica, a week at Lindo Mar that we own and then an RCI trade into Lindo Mar for a second week there. This year we changed it around with adding the Sheraton (RCI trade). With the RCI One in Four rule, we won’t be able to go back for four years.

We were in 1773 which was a one bedroom suite, large windows facing the fields with the goats and chickens, ocean, no balcony. I met the folks in the two bedroom at the end of the hall, John and Sharon. I got daily emails from Leonardo Gonzoalez, and ignored them...next time I'll contact him and see what I can find out. We have been going to the Buganvilea, usually, every two years. I pay my EOY maintenance while there, but go there as RCI. Once I pay the mf, they tell reception that we are owners, so that works out for wifi and 20% discount cards.
Lindo Mar sounds wonderful. Can folks trade in with either RCI or II?

rpennisi: Yes, we had dinner a couple of times with John and Sharon. Lovely couple! You would not be the couple that they sat in the shady area of the pool with are you? I trade for Lindo Mar with RCI and Trading Places International. I deposit a week with TPI every 3 years or so. They have a lot of Mexico and West coast resorts + Hawaii. Free membership also. Lindo Mar is super small with a tiny beach and a small pool. It is not for everyone, but we love it there.

Thanks SciTchr, I'll have to check that out.
No, we sat in the lounges that are along the wall near tower D most days.
