We are thinking about doing a last minute trade to the Sheraton Broadway Plantation in Myrtle Beach, from 30 Dec - 6 Jan. It has good reviews on TUG and Tripadvisor.

Any surprises that we should know about? Any reasons not to trust the good reviews?

How's the weather on Myrtle Beach over New Years?

What are some convenient, inexpensive golf courses?

Other recommendations of things to do in Myrtle Beach?

Thanks,
Doug

Normally the weather is mild high 60, low 40 that time of year. It can get cooler, but 60/40 is normal.

SBP is a very nice resort. My only problem with the resort is that its 5 blocks from the beach. Other then its location, its great. Resort Link

This time of year all of the golf courses are "cheap". You can go to some of the Myrtle Beach sites and buy/see all sorts of golf specials and deals. Golf Link

SBP is next to shopping/entertainment area. There are ton of really good restuarants up and down the strip. Dixe stampede has a Christams Edition, check availablity. Link
