Heading to SBP the end of July. Does anyone know if they are planning on opening Splash Cove ? Booked for the grandkids and the little water park is the highlight of their trip. Any other info is also appreciated.
Thanks
From what my friend said, they are planning a big family vacation there in July, they were told, due to COVID-19, Splash Cove will be closed, something to do with shortage of lifeguards etc.All the other pools will be open, including the wade pools.
Thank you for your replies. Disappointed but not surprised that they will be closed for the season due to lifeguards. We have been going for the last 7 years and they always seem to an issue with having enough lifeguards..

No they never closed Splash Cove because of lifeguards but I have been there when they closed the big slide and said it was because they were short lifeguards.
