I was looking at Sheraton Broadway Plantation units available on RCI today. There are some two bedrooms listed with full kitchens and some two bedrooms with partial kitchens. What is the difference? I have been on the starwood site and have seen the various configurations available. Is one a standard two bedroom and one a two bedroom lockoff including both sides of the lockoff? We wouldn't mind getting both sides of a lockoff if we could be certain we were reserving that. Any ideas?

Also - I think I read somewhere about a new pool going in? Is this correct? Does anyone know a timeline for completion?

Thanks.

Are these the same floor plans you looked at? - http://www.starwoodvacationownership.com/sheraton_broadway_plantation/villas.jsp

There is a 2 bdm. lock-off and a 2 bdm. that is not a lock-off.

The limited kitchen is in the smaller side of the lock-off. - http://www.starwoodvacationownership.com/sheraton_broadway_plantation/onebedroom_villa_470.jsp

But the larger side of the lock-off has a full kitchen - http://www.starwoodvacationownership.com/sheraton_broadway_plantation/onebedroom_prem.jsp

The 2 bdm. that is not a lock-off has a full kitchen as well - http://www.starwoodvacationownership.com/sheraton_broadway_plantation/twobedroom_villa.jsp

Right - this is what I've looked at. So what I don't understand is how RCI has listed 2 bedroom units with partial kitchens. Would those units be lock-offs then with both partial and full kitchens (but they don't mention the full one?) I'm wondering if anyone has exchange experience with this...

Here's the thread about the new pool and some pictures:
http://tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80320

The smaller side of the 2BR lockoff has a 2 burner stove and a microwave/convection oven, so that might be what RCI has in its info. The larger side has a bigger kitchen.

we just returned yesterday from a wonderful stay at Sheraton Broadway Plantation. The new pool is the kiddie pool area. Maybe 8 slides or so, and water coming out from everywhere. It was a huge hit with the 16 month old and the 3 yr old, however the water was always so cold, we got out a few times to go over to the warm 3ft pool. The location of SBP is wonderful. The hotels on the beach are just so stacked on top of one another :(
we stayed in building 19 in a 2 bedroom, plenty of room and we loved the screened balcony especially with the little kiddies.

there are other pools there, plenty that aren't just kiddie sized in case you arent traveling with kids
