Shell to Wyndham conversion January 2020?

I've read a few posts and seen some propaganda in my Shell maintenance fees statement that there is going to be an offer to convert Shell points to Wyndham coming this month. I gather the fee will be $2900, but I haven't seen or heard any other details. Does anybody out there have any other details that they can share?
