Shell’s owner database is out of date

We gave back our Shell ownership over 3 years ago, via Certified Exit. So I was surprised today - as well as amused - to get an email Shell Vacations Club / Insider! It even had our old Owner Number on it. I guess they haven’t purged their database for a while.

It is, after all, Wyndham-owned. Maybe IT ineptitude is communicable.

Hello-Would you mind sharing the process of Certified Exit? We’ve had Shell since 2001-40 year lease didn’t buy a deeded property 4500 points. We use it but every time we go to a new presentation they keep trying to get us to buy into Wyndham and we’re not interested. We have HOME HI resorts. The maintenance is still reasonable. Not sure if we want to keep for awhile or just try and sell. Tried to sell over 15 years ago secondary market. No one was interested. Would appreciate any advice you might share. Thank!

There’s a sticky threat for that, kind of buried at the top of this forum right now. Our story is back several pages - I think 2021 - and unfortunately the most recent reports you’ll see aren’t as happy as ours was. Good luck!
