Shared Amazon Prime Benefits Are Now Limited to One Other Person - by Napier Lopez/ Insider/ TNW News/ thenextweb.com

"Amazon wants to eke out a bit more money from Amazon Prime: new subscribers can only share their membership with one other person now.

Previously, you could share your subscription with up to three others, but a rule change quietly went into effect on July 31st, stating this limit had been decreased to one other household member.

Moreover, this person now needs to use the original Prime owner’s credit card to gain access to the benefits. The change appears to apply to new people using the feature; if you’ve been sharing your benefits for a while, you should be unaffected.

For reference, household members get access to Prime’s shipping discounts, Prime Instant Video, Kindle’s Lending Library, Prime Early Access, and exclusive Prime deals. To set someone as a household member, you can check out Amazon’s tutorial here...

Rules wonderful things

can be changed at any time. i like to be grandfathered in.

i wish amazon would update their policy on prime tv so that a USA member vacationing in europe would not have to use a VPN service in order to watch TV.

We'll there is a second change there in the Prime Video can be shared with Prime. I believe historically that Prime Video was a primary member only.
