Panina and Glynda I get sooo jealous of the extended season ya'll have when I visit the community garden on HHI. That is one of my "go to" destinations while we bike ride. Right across the street from the horse barn. They've got it made.
We got home Monday night. Yesterday was the first wave of action in the yard. Pulled bags of chickweed and garlic mustard. I should be cooking and canning the garlic mustard in case the pandemic gets ugly enough to cause serious food shortages. I've watched lots of WWI and WWII documentaries and read lots of WWII books. Years ago, as a joke I bought a cookbook for it.
Raining today but we got to come home to a second spring. Trillium full bloom, bleeding hearts, wild geranium, crabapples, the excitement of new fresh growth coming out of the ground.
