I'm looking for some guidance.

1. When is the best time to call SFX, all I ever get is the message center?

2. I deposited my 3BR Cypress Pointe week (bonus week to them) in the spring of 2005, for a 1 or 2BR at the St. James Club in Antigua - summer of 2007. When should I expect to hear back from SFX? About once I get a message from them asking me to deposit my 2006 week, but I can't get a hold of a person to tell them that I need confirmation on my current request before I continue to do business with them.

This is my first time dealing with them and I am a bit frustrated.

Ed - SFX is an internet based exchange Co. and they prefer that you do business through your account online, rather than by phone. Your best bet is to email their spokesman, Mark, over on the SFX board on the timeshareforums website -
Ask SFX
You will want to email him, because he doesn't discuss personal customer business on the board.

You are looking for summer 2007? Do you know if St. James Club in Antigua lets owners deposit more that a year an advance? Even if they do, I don't think very many owners typically deposit that far in advance. I would think you would want to wait until at least fall 2006, possibly even early 2007, before you start to worry.

I would think this would be a tough trade. There are not many sightings of St. James Club in Antigua, and I don't think I have ever seen a summer sighting. Plus, you are trading an Orlando deposit. The 3 bdrm at a good resort is a plus, but it is still Orlando. I don't know much about how SFX prioritizes exchanges though.

Best time to call SFX

I usually call right after they open (9AM PST). Although I haven't called them often, I have reached a live person each time except once.
