SFX Preferred Resorts

Has anyone here used SFX Preferred Resorts (an exchange company) to exchange their Royal Resorts unit?

We would like to try to exchange into Honolulu/Waikiki but don't like the options available with Interval International.

We would like a 2-bedroom at Hilton Hawaiian Village or the Grand Waikikian next January.

Is this an impossible dream?

As a trade using a Trading company yes!!

Your best bet is to rent your week and then rent from an owner for either of those resorts.
I think you will need to throw in some cash as your week will rent for around $1400 and a 2 bedroom at either of those resorts will be more in the $2500 range.

You can sure try SFX, and you may get lucky. They used to have an affiliation agreement with HGVC, but I haven't heard anyone mention it for a while.

I had requests in for a number of resorts in Maui for Jan/Feb 2012 with SFX. I am a platinum member and have been for about 6 years. I requested 18 months out and and I got nothing at all. So my requests are in for 2013, we'll see.

Historically I have had good luck getting what I want from SFX, but we generally vacation off season. This time I wanted peak season and I am disappointed with the lack of anything.
