REALLY fascinating, Richard. Thanks for sharing. This story would make a great documentary, book or movie. We could all use a bit more understanding of those who came before us.

Just a few weeks ago we watched an old Death Valley Days episode about Sequoyah. He was indeed dedicated to his nation.
