Free apparently except for the cost of the postcards and stamps

It's a project that allows you to send postcards and receive postcards back from random people around the world. That's real postcards, not electronic! Learn more.

How does it work?

  2. Mail a postcard to that address
  3. Receive a postcard from another postcrosser!

It sounds like fun and most of the reviews seemed fine, but one reviewer mentioned getting bad vibes from a few of the members.

If a full name is required, I might hesitate. If you can use an alias, I might try it.

I signed up for this and have my first 5 addresses to send out. I’ll be sending postcards to Taiwan, Netherlands, Germany, Finland and Russia.

We’ll see how it goes.

I might have to do this! I don't think of my home as all that exciting, but to many people, Florida is a dream destination. I could send postcards from Christmas! I travel the whole state every week, it would be fun to stop into some of the little towns and pick up interesting postcards to send all over the world. I'll have to see if my other half feels comfortable with giving our home address to random folks across the globe...

So far it has been pretty cool. Very easy to do and pretty cheap to do. It takes a while so I will be near when I start receiving some back.

Many people from around the world would love to get cards from Florida.

Here’s a fourth card that was received. I still have two of my original 5 that haven’t posted as received yet, One to Germany and one to Finland. They should post any time now. I already sent three new ones out and now can send one more since this one was received.

I should start receiving some any time now. Some coming to me have probably been sent three weeks ago now.

I just received my first card from PostCrossings. It came from Germany. So I should have about three more on the way and another three when my three that are traveling get received.

The map shows where the ones I have sent have been received.
