Recommendations for selling a timeshare. I know there are a lot of companies that are bad actors. I would like to know of some that are reputable. I own a resort in St. Martin/St Maarten.

Knowing so few details, if you have a mortgage on your TS, you will need to get more which is very difficult. TS can resell for a dollar depending on the resort. The best resort to have for resale is Disney.
So, if you just want to unload it, the best approach is to give it away on TUG or redweek. You can always try EBay.com. You are correct in thinking there are many shady actors out there.
