I have a buyer for my timeshare and have sent email to rci to find out if i can still have my rci membership without owning a timeshare? My membership would expire in 2009 but i really want to keep it for the extras and last calls. I have tried to find past posts on this topic but there hasn't been much. Anybody else in the same boat??

I don't know about keeping it without owning a TS, but an idea to access the extras and last calls is to have a friend ;) ;) that has a RCI membership and buy a 5 or 10 year guest certificate, good for any reservations in that time period. It might be cheaper than RCI membership dues for the same amount of time and that way all your guest certificates are covered. You will just have to pay for the extra or last calls which you would have had to do anyway.

Yes, you can keep your membership. See this thread. "Madge" is an RCI employee who, at the time of that thread, was an official RCI rep to TUG.
