If you are inquiring about Vidanta taking a timeshare you own as a trade-in, it's not going to happen. Work your best deal for cash if you must have a Vidanta timeshare.
It's reported here many times that they won't take your trade in, they pass it off to a third party that will give you the runaround.

My parents bought a Vidanta share, but the sales person said they would buy their old timeshare for 40k
Can someone confirm for me this isn't accurate? The salesperson did not buy it but gave them phantom credit for the potential sale of the timeshare. I believe my parents will be on the hook for the 40k once a certain period elapses. I highly doubt anyone is buying a Wyndham timeshare for 40k.
