I haven't visited the classified section in some time and was surprised to find a phone number supplied when I clicked on the "contact member" button. Is this something new?

Im always surprised when I see an ad without a phone number. You will find my number in all my ads, here and on craigslist.

Putting my number in the ad, I think gives me a little more credibility and trustworthyness (if thats a word). It suggests to the buyer that Im not hiding anything and probably not out to scam them

I sold my TS on Ebay and the minute the seller contacted me, I gave him all my contact information including phone number. It does make them feel you have nothing to hide. He never called me, we did everything by email. Very smooth transaction.
