We are going to PBSB next week. I understand that there is valet parking, but is it possible to self-park?

General questions: We want to do a whale watching tour. Any recommendations? I printed a 2-fo-1 voucher from the PBSB website, but itdousn't give the name of the outfit. Would anyone have any information about this?

Snorkeling: we like to snorkel, but am wondering if the water temp might not be too cool? (We are used to warm Caribbean waters!) Should we bother bringing our snorkeling gear?

We snorkle in January at Santa Maria Cove near Cabo San Lucas and if the suns out it fine. Don't expect to see anything other than perch and needlefish. It is nothing like the Caribean or Hawaii. If you want to see dirverse sealife you would drive north 1hr 45 min. to Cabo Pulmo in the Sea of Cortez.

Usually in December the water cools down significantly so it won't be in the 80's like it is up till then. But, it should still be comfortable enough to snorkel. The best place to see many different fish and large schools of fish is out by Pelican Rock and Neptune's Finger. If you take a water taxi to Lover's Beach it is easy to get to both locations by swimming close to shore or walking along the beach. Just be careful of boat traffic as sometimes jet skiers get a little crazy in the area. Or if you prefer, there are tours that will take you there and provide vests, masks and snorkels.

Where did you find 2-for-1 coupons for the whale watching tour? Thanks!

Found it! http://www.pueblobonito.com/coupon.aspx
