We own a one bedroom floating week at Sedona Pines in Sedona, Arizona. We would like to reserve a week and then put it up for rent. What are the best weeks to reserve that would be easy to rent during a particular period?

Just my opinion, but summer months, when school is out, are busy around here. And my second choice would be fall, from late Sept untill early Nov

I'm sure Red Rox knows what he's talking about.

I was there last week and I asked our balloon pilot when the busy times are. He told me Sept and Oct, which would be my choice, not having kids at home, but I'd think that summer would also be a busy time.

Balloon flights can be tough in the summer due to early morning thermals. I'm not an expert, but I've heard that before, and I don't see as many balloons in the sky on summer mornings as I do in the shoulder seasons.

We are thinking about reserving the week of the Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival which I believe is going to be September 19-26, 2009 or the week of the Red Rocks Music Festival - August 29-Sept. 6th, which is also the Labor Day week-end. We should be able to get someone to rent our week if we can secure one of those weeks. Thanks for your help.

We just returned from Los Abrigados. It was a lovely time of year to be in Sedona. We missed the jazz festival by a week but had to be in Tempe to see the DAWGS beat ASU. The hot air balloon ride was fantastic but the fall would be the best time because of heat.
