I declined but they were way more aggressive this time than in the past. Took 10 minutes to get wrist bands.
Three "hooks" they threw out to me -
-they are starting to allow select owners to make up to 5 - 13 month reservations anywhere.
-new website is coming and they wanted to train me
-Travel and Leisure is available now so they would get me on it (for free)

All baloney, as usual?

I was just there. They said that there was no new website. Although I got no hard sell (or wristbands actually) since we came in right when that desk was closing for the night. However a few days later I got a call so that I could do the update. Fine. Then I got a call saying that I couldn't do the update. Again, whatever but now I needed to figure out what was going on. And then I got another call saying that they could "service"me. Okay so that was an odd word to use.

As it turned out, I was the only VIP in the room. I was also the last person left in the room as I can talk. No pitch to buy anything but we walked away with my son even saying how pleasant that whole exchange was.

I got $100 Amex card and $50 toward Rioz Brazilian steakhouse. Dinner for two still cost an additional $100 but I'm quite confident that my husband and son did some damage since it is all you can eat.

They offered me the same $100 amex as well as $50 dining certificate.
Seems to me the update gifts have been immune to inflation for 15-20 years.
I told them $250 amex was my minimum. Only Sea Gardens has called my bluff and given it to me.

There's always a new website at the concierge (parking pass) desk that you need to enroll into that can only be done by attending a sales update. It's always a lie. No idea what is meant by allowing select owners to make 5-13 month reservations anywhere. Owners can make reservations anywhere between 0-10 months out by design already. All owners can make reservations within the ARP window subject to the ARP entitlements from their contract(s).

T&L TravelUp supposedly can be accessed by anyone now - no purchase required. Not sure if this link will work - but here goes:

You may have to sign-in first via the link above - then copy/paste the link again into the same browser tab - then you'll get to the T&L entitlement.

Wow! The slips of that sale person were in third gear. Nothing but truth or Nothing but lies!

Dude last month tried the "new website" bull on me. The wrist band gal was in slowmo mode. Me: I'll just do it online. Dude: You have to do it in person. Me: Like me standing here waiting for this gal to do 4 wrist bands? No thank you! Somebody needs to compile all the hooks we have spit out over the last 3 years alone!
