What season is the older Silver Seasons converted to since now there is only Platinum, Gold Plus, and Gold? Would it be a Gold?

TIA

That's correct: the former Silver season (weeks 28-35) is now Gold.

Is the silver season really the older season structure? I thought that before Vistana (formerly Starwood) bought the property the prior developer only sold a floating 1-52 week. It was my understanding that it was Vistana that came up with the new season structure that matches the SO chart? Those true SDO Platinum weeks are actually what Vistana sold and not the older weeks sold by the prior developer?

What really matters however is the weeks associated with the silver season in the CC&R documents. The documents will outline the actual week numbers that you can reserve in to, those may not match exactly with the SO chart. I don't know if this is true at SDO, but at SVV-Bella, the Platinum season includes more weeks on the SO chart than you can actually reserve with a home resort reservation. The fall weeks along with week 6 are not reservable as a SVV-Bella owner for a home resort reservation. It was subsequent phases of SVV where Vistana included those weeks in the Platinum season.

With SDO, the old developer sold all units as 1-52, aka Gold Plus now. When Starwood took over, they split remaining weeks into 3 seasons. 1-21, 51-52 were sold as true Platinum. The second season is spring/fall weeks and the 3rd seaon is summer weeks.

So I found a unit that deed indicates
51-2065. Since the unit # is not in the correct range, it is technically not a True Platinum. However according to SO Chart, it’s Platinum season and would automatically be reserved for week 51. And if I did not want that reservation, I could change at 12mo.
TIA

The deeds would have to indicate what is “True Platinum” especially if Vistana is allowing resale owners to requalify. Just curious if it would just be in the format:
A-14-3095.
