I have an SDO gold plus unit that I no longer need. I understand I can deed it back and wonder if anyone knows if these have value on the resale market. It is very decent trader.

Thank you!

Yes, 0 value. I use as a trader as well. offer it for free on Tug. Should be easy to get rid of.

A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
i would think at this time of year with MF's due unless you already had a spring baseball week booked you would have a hard time finding someone to pay the 2020 MF if you cover closing. If you sell it now with usage not starting until 2021 and you reserve a spring baseball week for 2021 then you might be able to find someone willing to pay closing and $100 or so by next June. At this point you probably won't be able to do a deedback without paying 2020 MF's.

I doubt you can get much for it, but I also don't think you'd have any problem giving it away, with the new owner paying 2020 MF's and minimal closing costs (using someone like LT Transfers). SDO has excellent trade value, and the 2020 week is good for Interval trades through the end of 2022.

My SDO lockoffs have given us very cost effective vacations into larger units at WKORV/WKORVN/Nanea, Harborside, Kierland, and other great resorts - like the gorgeous 4BR Residence at Grand Luxxe (X2). Next year, I've split up my SDO lockoff for two weeks in a 2BR at Nanea, so I've rented out my WKORV and WKORVN weeks and still get to enjoy time in Maui!
