hello, i am interested in the sheraton desert oasis property resale. not interested in starpoints, staroptions, or elite status just purchasing to use. the week i am looking at floats 1-52. my questions are:
are all 1-52 float weeks equal? that is to say is there some sort of sub system or season distinction i should be aware of before purchasing a 1-52 float week? 2- when i call to make my reservation, who do i call and how far in advance must i call if i wanted week 10,11,0r 12? 3-does purchasing resale affect any other aspect of ownership other than the points, options, and elite status?

I own an every other year, SDO week that I purchased on ebay for $2K. It's the larger one bedroom. I've seen them go for less on ebay since then. A floating week can be used any week, but some of the SVO resorts have premium weeks for Christmas and New Years, and I don't know if SDO does or not.

2- when i call to make my reservation, who do i call and how far in advance must i call if i wanted week 10,11,0r 12?

Owners can reserve as early as 12 mos. out. If you need a specific week, you should call as soon as the office opens exactly 12 mos. out - 8 am. east coast time. Especially during a busy season like Spring Training (March.)
