On Interval International (II), my SDO shows up as 3 units:

1) 2 bedroom
a) 1bed A full kitchen
b) 1bed B full kitchen
c) 2 bed full kitchen
2) 1 bedroom A,
3) 1 bedroom B

I can search under 1a, 1b, 1c, 2, or 3

Questions:
Which 1 bedroom is the master and which is the lockoff?
In order to search, say using the 1bed A, should I be searching under 1a or 2?

I just wouldn't want to search using the wrong one and then not be able to complete the exchange?

Also, it says 2012 for usage, but I'm an odd year only, will exchanges not go thru if I search or should I contact II to correct this?

I'm so excited to have starwood preference - saw the Harborside for September these last couple of days, but we are already planned out for the year. Can't wait for the next starwood bulk deposit for 2013.

Under the II/Starwood rules implemented in 2009, II no longer shows you what is deposited (or even if anything is deposited.) Every year, you will just see a place holder showing the current year's date - even if you haven't deposited it - even if you own an EOY deed - the place holder will be there and it will always have the current year's date.

You will use that placeholder for exchanges, and in theory, Starwood will use the earliest available deposit for your exchange. So that means if you have a 2011 deposit, and a 2012 deposit, they are "supposed" to use the 2011 year first.

That means that you need to keep good records, and copies of all your deposit emails, because there are no records that you can access on the II website of your deposits. Yes, it's ridiculous... ;)

For all the details, see the II/Starwood FAQ at the top of the forum - for more info. about the best strategies for depositing and requesting an exchange.
