Scam targeting Hilton Grand Vacations Club owners, offering to buy "RCI getaway weeks".

I got a voicemail that mentioned "an important update" regarding my "Hilton Grand Vacations RCI membership", and called it back. The person who answered spoke with a native accent and knew my name, so I didn't expect anything wrong at first, and she explained that due to an upcoming conference in Orlando they wanted to buy my "7 RCI getaway weeks" for $12,000 with their fee being $3,000 due today.

As soon as she said that I knew it was an obvious scam, I just thought it was interesting that my HGVC membership details seemed to have leaked out to scammers somehow.
 
This has been an ongoing scam for a long time. RCI even posted a warning about it on their website.
