Saving unused points for multiple years?

Sorry if this has been asked before - I searched the member guide and this forum before asking... I get 8500 points/year. I just saved my unused 2024 (7500 points) into 2025. I now have 16,000 points for 2025. If I don't book any/all of my 2025 points before June 30, 2025, can I save all 16,000 points into 2026? Or can I only save 2025's 8500 point allotment into 2026, and possibly lose my original 2024 (7500) points?
 
I just re-searched the US Member Benefits Book Combined for "save" instead of "deposit". In case anyone else has the same question, here's what I found:

If you had points saved from the previous year, they were added to the current annual allocation for use within that year and cannot be saved for a second year.

An exception is in Section 3.1, where I need to dig out my purchase documentation to figure out if I have Term or Perpetual points.
